As part of his mission to The Gambia on the occasion of the official launch of the National Early Warning Mechanism, the Vice-President of the ECOWAS Commission, H.E. Oluwatosin Anthony Ogunjimi, paid a visit to the ECOWAS Permanent Representation on 28 September 2026, before proceeding to the ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority (ERCA) for a second visit.
This step, which follows the inaugural ARCC Conference held from 15 to 17 September 2026, illustrates the commitment of the Commission’s management to issues of competition and consumer protection. It also marks the Vice-President’s first visit to an ECOWAS agency since the beginning of his mandate.
