Dr. Mohamed Rashwan holds BS.C, MS.C, and PhD. In electrical engineering. He is the president of TransGrid Solutions (TGS) specializing in HVDC and Power Electronics. Dr. Rashwan is the recipient of 2010 Uno Lamm HVDC Medal and Award. His career in the power industry spans 45 years between utility, manufacturers and consultants. He is currently the chairman of Cigre SC B4 “HVDC and Power Electronics”
