UEMOA–ERCA Working Visit on the Digital Competition Ecosystem (EDC) & ERCA Competition Information System (SIC)

The WAEMU Commission, through the Directorate of Competition (DCONC) and under the supervision of the Department of Regional Markets and Cooperation (DMRC), is working to establish its Digital Competition Ecosystem (EDC). This project is being carried out as part of the Program to Support Competition and Consumer Product Safety in West Africa (PACoSPro), implemented with technical assistance  of IBF The three-day mission has three main objectives:

•  To gather feedback from the ARCC/ECOWAS on the operational use of its SIC, particularly its e-services modules, its statistical system, and its complaint management portal;
• To establish, in accordance with regulatory provisions and the UEMOA–ECOWAS Cooperation
• Agreement, a structured collaboration mechanism for the joint use of the UEMOA Digital Ecosystem (EDC) and the ARCC’s digital ecosystem (SIC…
